The "Bergekran" ("Salvaging Crane")

MOJE Rescuesystems eK produces a crane that allows a rescued individual to be brought on-board in a horizontal position.

Traditionally the static positions of davits are a disadvantage due to the ship not being able to change its position adapt to the position of the casualty swiftly, this is not the case with the "Bergekran". The crane can be placed anywhere where a railing is available or be mounted or placed on the ship's deck. In either case only one anchor point on the ship deck is required.

Even an untrained and inexperienced individual can set-up the 20 kg crane and perform a quick recovery.
